ANAHEIM, Calif., June 28 (Our Los Angeles) — Disneyland Resort in Anaheim briefly closed Tiana’s Bayou Adventure after a 13-year-old guest exited a ride vehicle and slid down the attraction’s final drop, an incident that sent him to a local hospital for precautionary evaluation.

Disneyland officials said cast members stopped the ride after the boy got out of the vehicle on Sunday, June 21. The resort said he was later released from the hospital.

The attraction stayed closed for the rest of Sunday. It later reopened after an inspection by the California Division of Occupational Safety and Health.

Cal/OSHA spokesperson Katherine Wzorek said inspectors did not find any operational issues.
